2 WEEKS LATER

"I AM SOOO HELLA NERVOUS RIGHT NOW LUNA"

I closed my ears an lyla screamed on top of her voice. She has been like this since morning as we have our foster this evening. She is scared as well as excited. I had be lying if i said i wasn't nervous, i was but i had faith in myself as well as my foolish friend who is now pacing back and forth in the room.

"Calm down lyla, its going to be alright" i said to her.

The morning went in the blink of a eye and now all the candidates were standing out the forest in queues. we all wore our fighting leathers as any wild animal or beasts can attack you so its for self defense but its strictly prohibited for us to harm or hurt fairies in any way not that we will do something, they will crush us even if we think something like that yes fairies can read human minds and even talk to them in mind if they bond with them.

"so let the foster begin all the best!!" the chief shouted.

The foster began and all of us started running into the forest. Once we were all deep we just roamed and waited for the fairies to choose us. I have to admit the forest was really very very beautiful fairies flying here and there doing their chores. Their little houses on the trees, their little kids playing here and there. I was amazed when they used theirs powers. well fairies can use a little amount of magic without their masters but their powers become stronger when they bond with us, so its a mutual understanding between humans and fairies since years as they form bond with us to make themselves stronger and we use their powers to protect us during wars. By now i was deep under the forest but none fairy chose me still.

i was being nervous as bad thoughts surged 'will they choose? was my training not enough? what if i don't get any fairy?' yes this too has happened some candidates get chosen by none of the fairies so some of them return home losing all their hope while some of them train harder for another year in hopes that they will get chosen the next year. I shook my head to remove all the negative thoughts coming in my mind i still moved deep into the forest until i came in front of the cave.

"come to meee!!' i haulted as i heard the voice it was coming from the cave near me i went in there. But there was no one in there , i was about to turn suddenly i felt dizzy and before i knew i blacked out.
